Building Our Empire

There’s no doubt that big things are on the RISE in Louisville these days.  This is one of my favorite buildings in the NULU area.  Before it was occupied by restaurants like Taco Punk and Toast I had the pleasure of touring the building which wasn’t renovated at that point.  It was home to an antique, junk, garage sale type dealer.  The surrounding few city blocks has changed quite a bit since then, with new bars, restaurants, art galleries, locally owned shops and businesses popping up every few months now.

In this Insider Louisville article the author mentions that there might even be an interest by the new owners to restore it back to it’s original Theater like heritage.

NuLu’s Empire Theater Building — former home of Taco Punk — has new owners

Is it possible that other local neighborhoods could see a similiar revival like East Market St?

Make Today Full of Possibilities.
